The all that have special interests and everlasting favors towards the development of Sports for People with a Disability!
I am cordially pleased to deliver my great appreciation to all of us as the 2nd president of Korea Paralympic Committee (KPC) & Korean Sports Association for the Disabled (KOSAD).
KPC & KOSAD was established in 2005 in accordance with the tremendous endeavors and enthusiasm of our athletes with a disability.
Ever since then, KPC & KOSAD have been achieving glorious and brilliant exploits with our passion and desire; however, there still remains a large majority of number of people with a disability in face of social barriers and obstacles without any accessibilities to Sports for People with a Disability.
The atmosphere of the sporting activity that sports for people with a disability take place in has not shown visible achievements as compared to the ordinary functions only except for those special parts of metropolitan areas. To make thorough implementation of enhancement and devotion towards the development of ourselves, please let KPC & KOSAD make these practical efforts to revitalization of lifetime sports with organization capabilities be our most important step and first consideration. Dear my respectable fellows!
Once again I am fully understanding and recognizing that the name of KPC & KOSAD presidency is not only with infinite glory but also the heavy burden on.
I would like to extend my wholehearted resolution and strong promise not to content with its position but always consider and work hard for my responsibility so that all people with a disability are able to participate in sports activity and enjoy our lives with love and health. My special gratitude goes to the all who show their true and best supports to and will give us the encouragement to the takeoff of KPC & KOSAD and sports for people with a disability in Korea. Thank you very much again and I am looking forward to taking part in the glory of being with cooperation of all of you.
